The Delegate Assembly offers NHSBA members an opportunity to submit, discuss, debate and ultimately vote on NHSBA Resolutions and Statements of Belief. 

Most school boards and school administrators rely on committee work in carrying out their respective functions. In this webinar, NHSBA will cover some of the legal issues applying to the different types of committees (board vs agency, sub-, advisory, ad hoc, etc.), and review some best practices for ensuring compliance. .

School boards and superintendents play a pivotal role in the success of any school district. Research shows that districts with effective governance and a positive relationship between the school board and the superintendent routinely have better student outcomes. Indeed, the dynamic of that relationship can either hinder or help a district achieve its mission. This webinar will provide both school boards and superintendents positive recommendations, strategies and approaches as they consider how to foster positive and effective relationships with each other.

This webinar aims to explain opportunities for legislative participation for the 2025 session, and make this process easier to manage for our members.

Over the next biennium, the current way New Hampshire districts receive reimbursment through the Medicaid to Schools Program (MTS) is changing. These changes to the MTS program will substantially change the process, requirements and reimbursements to local public school districts and will have an impact on school district budgets and budgeting processes. Please join NHSBA staff, along with Dan Courter, General Counsel, Boothby Therapy Services, as we provide a brief history of NH's participation in the Medicaid to Schools Program, a description of changes to come, and the opportunity to ask questions about potential impacts on local school board budgeting.
